Welcome! This Easter season, I decided to try my hand at the Boolprop Easter Egg Challenge (check it out here: https://www.boolprop.net/viewtopic.php?f=254&t=5170)! I named my founder April Cottontail and tried to keep everything as bunny/spring themed as possible. I rolled a three on the die, so April will be having three babies.
April was a fresh CAS sim (+20)

That bunny suit is her every outfit, yes even swimwear (this will come up again later lol). I moved her onto the Umbrage Manor lot (+25)

I downloaded and modified a small house for her to live in. To start off I took pictures of all the Easter Egg items I bought in the beginning for points:

I decided to play for points here. I started with a female sim (as opposed to a male named Peter Cottontail which would have made more sense) so that I could more easily have babies with and marry different Easter Egg sims. My initial targets were Mortimer Goth, Geoffrey Landgraab, and Don Lothario. The welcome wagon arrived and…

Score! Target #1 acquired. He even stayed after the party to enjoy some fruit cake with April.

Mortimer left before any romance could occur, but I made some good progress on their relationship bar. I got April a job in the tech guru career so she can do both the programming and video game Easter Eggs. Before her first day of work, I had her start painting.

And here we have the only Easter Egg painting I managed to get (not for lack of trying), the social bunny (+10)

Mortimer asked to come over a few days later

And we get started with the baby making. Nothing sexier than that bunny suit, am I right?

The third trimester looks a little funny in the suit

And we have a girl! I named her Jemima Cottontail for Jemima Puddleduck from the Peter Rabbit books. Points for her Easter Egg baby daddy (+10)

Then, the toilet broke so I moved it onto the lawn to create a big enough puddle for me to change to be shaped like a duck (+10)

Then I had April join the Paragons

And the Renegades

That’s gotta be uncomfortable! She made friends with Soibhan and got her to step down as leader of the Paragons. Renegades will have to come later because…

Jemima became a toddler!

April caught the season premiere of Game of Llamas (+10)

And started working on the weather machine

Meanwhile, Jemima became a child and aged up with the Topnotch Toddler trait!

I made a holiday called Bunny Day on the last day of spring to be Easter but also sort of Christmas/New Years since it will only ever be spring for this family. Traditions are egg hunting, flower bunny, grand meal, cleaning, and resolutions. Here is our first flower bunny visit!

April went over to the Landgraab house with the intention of meeting Geoffrey, but realized that Malcolm was a young adult already and decided to go for him instead. Here is the pair at the Romance Festival

Of course I didn’t realize Mortimer was nearby when they had their first kiss…he was not too happy lol. It doesn’t matter as I wasn’t planning to do anything else with Mortimer anyway, but it was awkward.

April made use of the weather machine to change it back to spring as soon as it became summer (+15)

April got pregnant by Malcolm and in the meantime went for her third target, Don Lothario. My plan was to marry Don and have him father April’s third child.

Don moved in, I put him in the scientist career and started him working on the rocketship for the alien tv station and space bunny Easter Eggs.

April went into labor and had a boy named Peter Cottontail (finally lol) (+10)

And then a girl named Flopsy (one of Peter’s sisters in the books).

That’s right, twins! So I missed out on 10 points for only having two Easter Egg baby daddies, but at least I got exactly three babies, so, meh? Time was flying by at this point and the twins became toddlers

Don struggled with the rocketship, crashing on at least one occasion

April maxed the programming skill and managed to hack a supercomputer! (+15)

Jemima became a teen with a killer randomized outfit

There, that’s better

And April and Don got married! (+25)

Of course I invited both of her exes to the wedding. While I wasn’t controlling her April flirted with Malcolm, which upset Don greatly. I had to have him calm down in the mirror so he didn’t die of anger.

The twins aged up into children with the Happy Toddler trait

Don finally reached the point where he could make the satellite dish in the scientist career

And when he got home from work that day he watched some alien tv and promptly quit his job (+30)

At this point April maxed the tech guru career and I built the pre styled room to go with it because they needed more space anyway (+25)

This was evidently April’s Renegade outfit?

He’s proving a harder nut to crack than Soibhan.

Then April became an elder which I kept forgetting because she wears a bunny suit

I had April take some medicine when she wasn’t sick, but she was too focused to actually get dazed from it (+10)

Jemima got together with Charlie Bheeda

And April finally managed to persuade Max to let her lead the Renegades! (+40)

Jemima aged up into a young adult as Flopsy did her homework. I never bothered to change her clothes.

April had the Collector aspiration and she found a Hyponofrog! I named him Bongo (any Futurama fans?) (+15)
I tried to complete the postcard collection but I was one short in the end 😦

After spending most of his life in that rocketship, Don finally met the giant space bunny! (+40)

And April finally met Grim in her old age. I had Don plea for her life to get more time but he was unsuccessful.

I had a lot of fun doing this challenge! I didn’t know of many of these references in the game before I started. I also played with the hamster for the first time in an effort to get all the postcards. This was a great quick challenge that I highly recommend!
